Passion for light

“I always had a passion for light but I truly believe it´s when you master the shadows the magic happens.”

Hi, I'm Therese, or Tess to my friends. I'm a Swedish portrait and fineart photographer with passion for people and lightning. Since a couple of years, I am a proud international ambassador for Elinchrom and Nikon.

I run a studio, Ateljé Linslusen, where I work with both commercial and private clients. Besides working in the studio, I also do a lot of location shoots and travel to wherever the asignments takes me. One of the best things about my job is that I get to go places I never would otherwise and that I get to meet so many great people. Perfect for a curious and sociable person like me!

I always try to keep a high technical quality in my pictures, without losing the personal feeling and playfulness. When working with clients I very much like to work as a team. The challenge of trying to create a picture that is inside the head of someone else is sometimes hard but always fun!

​​​​​​​As for the photography I do just for me, I hope I never stop having these crazy ideas that, from time to time, end up as really great pictures. For the times they don´t, I always learn something from trying. I believe nothing is as good an education as setting out to do things you don´t know if you can manage to pull off. You learn very little new things in your comfort zone!

 The good pictures from these sessions often make competition pictures and I am proud to have won prices for my pictures both here I Sweden and internationally. Some worth mentioning are several guld medals in the Swedish Championship, over all winner in the total in WPE awards 2023, first runner up Over all photographer of the year The society of phtographer in London 2024 and five Gold, Silver and Bronze cameras i the FEP Awards over the last three years.

When I am not shooting I like it very much to teach photography and I have done a lot of lectures, live shoots and workshops both in Sweden and abroad. For the past couple of years I have been running my own workshop concept called Play to learn workshops and done workshops and classes for Zoom Fotoresor, Moderskappet and Nikon School.

I'm married and a mother of two and live with my family in the small town Avesta. If, by chance, the day turns out to have enough hours I also like to walk my dig, ride my horse, eat a lot of good food or have a glass of wine with my friends❤️ Books, movies and series are my yoga and if you don't find me in Avesta I'm probably out traveling the world since seeing new places and meeting new people is one of the things I enjoy the most!
